iPhone/Android Application

So we’re waiting for Max to come home from USA to get the new site up. But until he’s back home I’ll start planning for a new awesome feature from Numeroduo – an iPhone and Android application.

Due to some learning time this is going to take a while to finish but it will be done I promise you!

Things we already thought to put in the application

  • Login, to get access to your own awesome playlists
  • Browse all of our music
  • Edit your playlists
  • Offline mode

Now is it up to you to comment this entry with thoughts and functions to the application.

New server upgrade… again!

Okey folks. Even more people are heading for Numeroduo so we had to upgrade again. This time the connection got better and the server is now on a 100mbit alone.

Fun fact. When we started this site we used a server which has about 100 other users and was on a 10mbit connection. It’s always nice to see some progress.

Tonight we are going live at Grace. See you there!



Technical issues

Okey folks, we have some technical issues at the moment. The AJAX won’t work for now thus we have disabled it (aka the music stops if you click any links). Current workaround is to just open links in a new tab (ctrl+click) since the player won’t show on any other page then the first page. This will be solved but for now just open in new tabs.

Permalinks is also updated with mod_rewrite (http://numeroduo.com/2009/10/update-3/ instead of http://numeroduo.com/?p=120) which makes it a bit nicer for now.

What’s going on?

Hence all the question about downloading the files etc. This is what we are currently working on:

* A new layout to bring the blog to your attention
* Personal playlists to access from anywhere in the world (register, log in, choose songs and go!)
* Several designs to the upcoming store (t-shirts etc)
* …and of course. A neat way to download the files!
